Event Details
Discover hidden city views, street-end parks, illustrious houseboats and more by joining FIUTS on the Cheshiahud Loop Urban Hike! This 6-mile fully-paved trail wraps around Lake Union and will surprise both newcomers and longterm residents with unseen views of the Seattle cityscape. There are a number of restaurants, cafes, and bathrooms participants can stop at along the way.
Difficulty Rating: Medium
Rating Rationale: This trail has little elevation gain, is mostly paved, well-maintained, and never strays far from local restaurants and businesses. The length of the trail (6 miles) is the primary reason for the "medium" rating.
What to bring: Lightweight backpack or bag for water bottle, snacks, money for lunch, and any other items you'll need throughout the day. Wear comfortable shoes (tennis shoes highly recommended) and weather-appropriate clothing.
