Event Details

Celebrate the Return of Summer at the Fremont Solstice Parade!
Join the Fremont Arts Council for one of Seattle’s most beloved summer traditions—the Fremont Solstice Parade—on Saturday, June 21, in the heart of Fremont! Famous for its painted cyclists, giant puppets, and vibrant community spirit, the parade kicks off a weekend of art, creativity, and freedom of expression. Visit local arts and craft booths, hear live music, try a variety of food, and see all kinds of people celebrating the summer solstice.

*Nudity and people with painted bodies are common at this event

Date: Sat, June 21, 2025
• 1:00pm – Parade starts

Where: Meet at 12 pm at U District Station NE 43rd St & Brooklyn Ave. Corner to travel together!

What to bring: This event is free, but you will want to bring cash for food and souvenirs and your U-PASS!
The Parade and fair will be at: Fremont Neighborhood (Begins at NW 39th St. & Leary Way NW)

Let’s celebrate the longest day of the year Fremont-style—rainbows, revelry, and radical self-expression included.
