DESCRIPTION: Kayaking and Paddle Boarding! Take a quick bus ride to Green Lake and join FIUTS friends for a morning on the water in one of Seattle's most picturesque summer destinations! To cover the cost of rentals at Green Lake, there is a $21 fee to participate.\n\nImportant safety note: all participants will be provided with a life jacket as part of their rental with Green Lake. They will be required to wear this life jacket for the duration of the event. Participants should only participate in this event if they feel comfortable in the water.\n\nWhat to bring:&nbsp; Valid photo ID demonstrating that you are at least 18 years old, bus fare (U-Pass, Orca Card, or exact change), weather-appropriate clothing that you wouldn't mind getting wet, sandals or water-proof shoes, a backpack or bag for a water bottle and any other supplies you will need, money for food and other desired purchases.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring a waterproof carrying case and/or leave valuable electronics at home.
