It will be the most wonderful time of the year, when their quaint Bavarian town becomes a Village of Lights and holiday cheer abounds! \n\nYou will see the arrival of Santa, costumed holiday characters in a march, high-caliber performances, including hand bell choirs, army band performances and more!\n\nYou will also find carolers strolling through town, the smell of roasted chestnuts filling the air, sledding in Front Street Park, a traditional Gluhwein Tent (selling hot spiced wine and cider) and more! \n\nAdvanced sign-up begins on Monday, November 14th online!\n\nDate: Saturday, December 11th\n\nMeeting Location & Time: Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture\n\nCost: $40 for members, $45\n\nWho: Students, FIUTS friends, scholar, community members - ALL ARE WELCOME!\n\nWhat to bring: Money for food/drink/shopping, comfortable weather-appropriate clothes & shoes, government-issued ID (passport, States ID or U.S. driver license) if you're 21+ and want to purchase alcohol\n\nFIUTS Covid-19 Advisory & Community Safety Regulations:\nIn alignment with the University of Washington's existing face covering policy and distancing requirements, FIUTS requires all participants to wear a mask for the duration of the event and maintain six feet of distance with others at all times, regardless of their vaccination status.
